This is the first time we had a child blessed at home instead of at church. He was just 11 days old. We wanted to have him blessed before my dad went back to Utah. It was very special. I didn't realize how much more intimate it is when you don't have the entire congregation there. It was quiet and very spiritual. I think I would have all my kids blessed at home if I would've known how wonderful it is.
